Eight Advisory continues its European development and accentuates its position with the promotion of Tom De Troyer in Brussels & Murat Deniz in Frankfurt. In Paris, the firm keeps making its teams grow by promoting Boris Bignon, previously Transaction services Director, Partner.

Tom de Troyer joined Eight Advisory in 2018. He graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven (Master of  Science in  Mechanical Engineering) and holds a MBA from the Vlerick Business School. Before joining Eight Advisory, he worked for more than 5 years for a global supply chain and operations consulting firm. After its acquisition by PwC in 2011, Tom launched the Operational Transaction Services department at PwC Belgium, providing clients with operational advice during a transaction or a restructuring phase. He mainly worked for private equity firms (Ardian, Ergon Capital, Omnes Capital, Gilde Buy-out, Verlinvest, Andera Partners,…) and corporates in the industrial manufacturing or food & agri sector (Bombardier, FrieslandCampina, ABInBev, Heineken, ArcelorMittal,…). He then started up the Brussels office of Eight Advisory with Philippe Fimmers. Tom leads the Transformation practice in the Brussels office and works in close collaboration with the other offices across Europe.

Murat Deniz, joined Eight Advisory in August 2018 as a Director. He graduated in 2006 from the Bielefeld University and worked for twelve years at EY Frankfurt in the Transaction Services department. In 2018, Murat launched the Frankfurt office with Michael Wahl. Murat has expertise in numerous sectors, such as in Industrials, Healthcare, Technology, Logistics and Pharmaceutical goods. Murat’s expertise also includes cross-border and carve-out transactions. He mainly worked for private equity firms such as Permira and EQT but also for various European corporate clients.

Boris Bignon, engineer and HEC graduate, started his career in audit at KMPG. He joined Eight Advisory in 2010 as a senior before being promoted Manager, Senior Manager and Director in 2018. He has developed a strong expertise in due diligence and particularly in Industrial Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Food & Agro Industry sectors. This appointment reflects the strong capacity and concern of Eight Advisory to promote talents internally.
