Eight Advisory opens office in Spain

We are pleased to announce the opening of our newest office in Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, to provide Transactional and Financial Services in Spain.

The opening is in keeping with the group’s strategy to meet the transactional and financial advisory needs of its clients, which include small and large companies, family-run businesses, and private equity funds, in the Spanish market. Eight Advisory has been active since 2012 and has established a dedicated team to cover Spanish projects.

Gennat Mouline, Partner, Head of Eight Advisory Spanish office, commented on the exciting new venture:

« Since the inception of Eight Advisory in 2009, our commitment to provide the highest quality support and a holistic approach to the due diligence work has been a driving force behind every stage of our development. Our European track record demonstrates our ability to deliver a tailored solution, acting locally and adapting to each country’s specificities.”

Madrid is an important milestone both for Eight Advisory and Eight International. The firm has over the years, provided Financial Services in Spain and has worked on a significant number of projects for European clients.

Gennat Mouline adds:

« With our Eight Advisory Spanish team, we are fully committed into supporting deals up to their execution. Our approach as an independent advisory is an integral part of our DNA and enables us to maintain close working relationships with our clients and with all the stakeholders involved during the due diligence process.”

There are many indications that the M&A market in Spain will continue to generate interest from both European and international investors. Many sectors are proving attractive, including business services and software, education, agri-food, and healthcare. Despite the difficulties faced by the European M&A sector, the Spanish market has demonstrated its capacity to harbour hidden gems.

Eric Demuyt, Managing Director & Partner at Eight Advisory, commented on the news:

« The opening of the Madrid office will allow us to respond to our clients’ growing interest in the Spanish market. We intend to continue strengthening our transactions, restructuring and transformation activities to maintain our leading role in the European market.”

Congratulations!
