Eight Advisory - Management Consulting Firm Appoints Five New Partners

Eight Advisory, a market leader in the fields of Corporate Transactions, Restructuring and Financial Transformation, is pleased to announce the appointment of 5 new partners, bringing the number of partners among the firm’s 250 employees to 28.

Eight Advisory has enjoyed continuous growth since its founding in 2009 by 8 professionals in financial and transaction advisory services. The appointment of 5 new partners, namely Geoffroy Bizard, Cédric Bodard, Hélène Dubly, Christophe Delas and Bertrand Perrette, is directly associated with the firm’s excellent growth potential, which is set to exceed revenue of 60 million euros in 2017.

Two of the new partners are based in Paris :

Geoffroy BIZARD (38)

Becomes Valuation & Modelling Partner alongside Alexis Karklins-Marchay, whose objective will be to develop the practice, already rated among the best in France, and which has enjoyed very strong growth.

A graduate of SFAF, EM Lyon and ESSCA, Geoffroy has 16 years of experience in financial valuation, acquired in the fields of equity research (5 years), with Deloitte (7 years) and lately with Eight Advisory, which he joined in 2012.

Geoffroy’s fields will notably include fairness opinions, intangible asset valuations within the context of purchase price allocations, and issues associated with transaction and debt valuation tax structuring.

Hélène DUBLY (49)

Has been appointed Partner and Head of Factoring at Eight Advisory. She joined the firm in 2015 as Director responsible for the launch and development of the new service. With over 20 years of experience in factoring, notably with GE (5 years) and her own consultancy firm specialising in factoring (12 years), Hélène offers comprehensive and renowned expertise in the field.

A new Partner has been appointed for the Nantes office :

Bertrand PERRETTE (37)

Becomes Partner for Restructuring & Transaction Services and Nantes Office Director. A graduate of ESC in Montpellier, Bertrand began his career at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young (4 years) and subsequently at PwC as Senior Manager for Restructuring (4 years), before joining Eight Advisory in 2010 as Director.

Since 2014, Bertrand has been responsible for developing the Nantes office, from which he has supported his team providing services to companies of all sizes in Western France in the fields of Corporate Transactions, Restructuring and Financial Transformation. Currently with 6 employees, this office is set to grow to 10 by late 2017.

Cédric BODARD (35)

Has been appointed Partner and Head of Restructuring. A graduate of Grenoble Management School, Cédric enjoys over 10 years of experience in restructuring, of which 7 have been spent with Eight Advisory since he joined the firm in 2010 to support the development of the newly-opened Lyon office. Previous to this, he was a restructuring consultant at Ernst & Young (4 years) and had begun his career at Valeo in the post of management controller (4 years).

At Eight Advisory, Cédric notably carries out transaction and financial analysis and provides support to companies and investment funds in refinancing transactions and the development of recovery plans.

Christophe DELAS (35)

Becomes Partner for Transaction Services. A graduate of Reading University (UK) and of IAE in Toulouse, Christophe began his career in Audit & Transaction Services at Ernst & Young in Paris (7 years), and subsequently in Transaction Services as Senior Manager at Mazars in Lyon (2 years). He joined Eight Advisory in 2015 as Head of Transaction Services in Lyon. His responsibilities notably include providing support to companies and investment funds to develop financial forecasts and conducting financial due diligence in France and abroad, both buy-side and sell-side.

Two new Partners have been appointed at the Lyon office, joining Xavier Mesguich, in order to strengthen the firm’s local presence and to consolidate its expertise in the field of Restructuring & Transaction Services.

Opened in 2010, the Eight Advisory office in Lyon now has 3 partners and 22 employees.
